YouTube's Nature Sounds relaxes your senses in this bustling world of ours
Nature Sounds channel on YouTube focuses on relaxation through
watching and hearing water in all different forms, rivers, lakes,
streams, brooks in Utah nature landscapes. There might be some
man-made fountains which help with relaxation too. I am the sole
person that operates and maintains the YouTube channel. I live in
Utah and I frequent the many canyons and mountain landscapes that
the Wasatch Front offers. When I say 'offers' the surrounding
Wasatch Mountains that lie on the east-end of the Salt Lake Valley
are enormous and vast in size. Do not forget, the Wasatch Mountains
are considered also part of the Rocky Mountain chain of mountains
that start up in Canada and go all the way down to New Mexico.
The Rockies as people like to say are the largest mountain chain in
North America. The portion of the Rockies that runs through Idaho
and Utah are the western edge of the greater Rocky Mountains. The
locales that live in Salt Lake City call the mountain range the
Wasatch. Within the Wasatch mountains lies some very enduring
picturesque canyons that were carved from ancient glaciers.
Of the many canyons that exist, big and small the most prominent
ones are the Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons. Within these two
canyons there are four world-class skiing resorts: Alta, Snowbird,
Brighton and Solitude. There is also Parley's Canyon which leads
drivers and tourists up to Park City which also has a top notch
world-class ski resort, which hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics in
Utah.
So within this mountain paradise lies many different rivers and
streams. Most notably the Little and Big Cottonwood Rivers, which
start off as small streams, but gradually grow in size as they near the
bottom of each canyon.
